World Wildlife Day #SeriousAboutWildlifeCrime

worldwildlifedayLast October, in Whitman County, WA, Jonathan Rasmussen shot & killed a federally protected gray wolf that he admitted did not pose a threat. State wildlife officials turned over the case to county prosecutor, Denis Tracy on Nov. 19, 2014, whose office is saying that the case is still under consideration and no charges have yet been filed.

This World Wildlife Day contact Denis Tracy (prosecutor@co.whitman.wa.us) and let him know that you want to see this crime against wolves taken seriously, and that appropriate charges need to be laid against anyone who kills protected wildlife.
